We have gathered an extensive list of some of the most popular questions asked by our existing member base. Please select from the list provided below. If you cannot find an answer to your question, please contact us.
Will I be able to talk to a cruise agent and get a price quote before I make my request?
Our agents will be more than happy to assist you once you have registered and made a reservation request. Our goal is to ensure that all registered clients travel on the dates that they have selected. You may visit the following web sites for information about itineraries or ship details.www.carnival.com or www.royalcaribbean.com. This will provide you with information along with an idea of the published brochure rates. Just remember, the sooner you register the sooner we can start planning your cruise. Do I need to know my travel dates prior to registering?
Yes. Our agents work with clients by travel dates requested. If the date you submitted is no longer convenient for you, please inform your cruise agent when he/she contacts you to start planning your cruise. Your agent will gladly assist you with selecting a date that better suits your plans. Or, if you "just want to change your dates," ask to speak to a Customer Service representative. This will ensure our agents are focusing on you the traveler when you're ready to book your cruise vacation.
Can I bring my children or additional people?
Yes! We will be more than happy to accommodate
everyone in your party. You should note that
not all cabins on all ships accommodate third
and fourth passengers. Since those cabins are
more limited, rates may be slightly higher or
a separate cabin may be required. Is my Cruise Vacation transferable to friends or family?
Certainly! Just be sure to supply them with a copy of the Details of Participation to ensure they understand the program. Am I obligated to travel once I have registered my Cruise Vacation?
No. If you decide that you are not ready to travel after you have registered your Vacation, just let us know. We will remove the dates you submitted and put your request on hold until you submit new dates. You may call or email the request to cancel a date choice. Once you decide on new dates you will be able to go on-line at least sixty (60) days prior to your first date choice and enter in your new dates. If you prefer, just call or email us the new information. Can you guarantee that my dates will be available?
Unfortunately no. While we will always try to
accommodate your selected date choice, everything
is based on space availability. This is why
we suggest that you register your Cruise as far in advance as possible. In the unlikely
event we are unable to confirm your date selection
your reservation request will remain on file for
future use. When do I need to pay for my cruise?
Because of the great demand for these specially
priced cruises, once your agent has confirmed
your sailing date, the payment is due within
24 - 48 hours to ensure you don't loose the
cabin we have confirmed for you. Your agent
will go over all the details once you are confirmed.
This special rate is only guaranteed once paid
in full. What if the cruise lines raise their rates after I pay for my cruise?
Good news! Once you are paid in full, you are
protected against increases. (Exception: You
may be assessed a fuel surcharge, government
tax, other surcharges if they are imposed after
your cruise is purchased.) How soon will you confirm my cruise?
Once your agent contacts you, he/she is usually
able to confirm and book your cruise the same
day (if there is space available). Just remember,
in order to secure your cabin you will be required
to pay within 24 - 48 hours. What is not included in the cost of the cruise?
"Other expenses," such as applicable
port charges and taxes, transportation to your
port of departure, shore excursions are not
included. Your agent will be able to inform
you of those charges at the time of booking.
Our special cruise rates include onboard accommodations
and all meals for two passengers. If we want to snorkel or take a tour, will you be able to help plan these events for us?
Once you are assigned to one of our knowledgeable
agents, they will be able to help you with excursions.
In many cases, we can book them and include
the cost in your final vacation price. I've heard liquor is expensive onboard. Can I just bring my own to drink while vacationing?
Sorry, but guests are prohibited from bringing
alcoholic beverages of any kind on board the
ship for consumption. How old do you have to be to drink alcoholic beverages on a ship?
Alcoholic beverages will be not sold or served
to anyone under the age of 21. Will I be able to have kosher meals on board?
Special diet requirements may be requested by
your travel agent at least two weeks prior to
sailing. There may be limitations in the cruise
line's ability to accommodate special orders.
Unfortunately, Kosher meals are not available. Can I make a name change to a guest listed on my Vacation request?
Yes you can make name changes any time prior to an agent booking and confirming your cruise vacation. Once a cruise is purchased fees are assessed by the cruise line for changes. You may also be subject to rate increases at the discretion of the cruise line. Please make sure all names are correct at the time of booking to prevent incurring additional fees. Since each cruise line is different, your agent will be able to advise you of the fees should the need arise. What if I need to cancel my reservation?
The cruise line dictates the cancellation policy
for each cruise. Your agent will go over the
cancellation policy with you once you have selected
a cruise line and itinerary. The Assured Travel
change/cancellation fee is $125 per person to
cancel or change a reservation. This is in addition
to any fees assessed by the cruise line. What is the minimum age to go on a cruise?
Guests under the age of 21 years must be accompanied
by a parent, grandparent or guardian 25 years
or older in the same stateroom. Infants must
be at least four months old to be eligible to
travel.
Some cabins do permit a third or fourth passenger
rate. However, there is no additional discount
or special rate for children. Do I need a passport to go on my cruise?
It is recommended that you have a passport whenever
you travel to a foreign country. U.S. Immigration
determines the correct documents which guests
must have in their possession to travel. Proper
travel documentation is required throughout
the cruise and is the responsibility of the
guest. Any guest traveling without proper documentation
will not be allowed to board the vessel and
no refund of cruise fare will be issued. Non
U.S. Citizens should check with their embassy
for travel requirements as they may vary greatly.
For travel overseas and to facilitate reentry
into the U.S., a valid U.S. passport is the
best documentation available and unquestionably
proves your U.S. citizenship. I don't have a birth certificate. Where do I get one?
You should contact your birth-state office of
Vital Statistics/Records for assistance. http://www.cdc.gov/nchs/howto/w2w/w2welcom.asp

access to the Internet, check with your local
United States Post Office for the location near
you that has a Passport Office. I sent my vacation request last week and I've already received my confirmation letter. When do I send my money?
The letter you received was an acknowledgment letter to let you know we received your request. You will not receive a confirmation letter until your travel agent finalizes your reservation and you have paid in full. I don't want to send my payment now; can I just pay when I get to the pier?
No, these special fares are only available from
Assured Travel and must be paid within 24-48
hours to guarantee the cabin. What is CSA Travel Protection Insurance?
This provides you with coverage in the event
you are unable to travel due to a covered emergency.
It is available at additional cost. Just let
your agent know if you would like additional
information or go to www.csatravelprotection.com.
No. Pets are not allowed on cruise ships. You
will be permitted to travel with a service animal.
These arrangements must be coordinated in advance;
so be sure to apprise your agent of any special
needs you may have at the time they book your
cruise. I need wheelchair access, is that available?
In most cases you will be able to travel. However,
some cruise lines do require that you travel
with a companion to assist you. Again, please
do not hesitate to mention your concerns to
your agent when booking your cruise. How do you determine the discount?
Discounts are based upon each cruise line's
annual brochure rate (less port charges) and
may be up to 60% depending upon the season,
ship, itinerary and room category you select.
Greater discounts are more likely to be available
if you do not travel during peak season. My neighbor's want to throw a Bon Voyage party in my cabin before we sail. Is that OK?
Due to heightened security and the sailing schedule,
most cruise lines have strict "no visitor"
policies. Please say your farewells on the pier. I hear the words "embarkation" and "debarkation." What does this mean?
Embarkation means "to board" the ship.
You must check in at least 30 minutes prior
to departure. But allow extra time
there's
plenty to do even while in port. Debarkation
is to leave the ship.

and he/she will be happy to arrange that for
you. You will be responsible for the additional
expense. What is the tipping policy on a cruise?
